Concerning YouTuber Bryant Moreland A.K.A. EDP445.
April 2021
On Monday, YouTube channel Chet Goldstein, run by a man named Alex Rosen, livestreamed chat logs from what Rosen said was a conversation between Moreland and a decoy named Sophie.
The next day, on Tuesday, the Chet Goldstein channel posted an hour-long video confronting Moreland. Rosen and YouTuber CC Unit - who goes by Ghost and is known for conducting his own pedophile stings in California on YouTube - approached Moreland with pictures of the purported messages.
Concerning Criticism
These kinds of sting operations have also found a significant audience on YouTube. Take Predator Poachers, which is run by soon-to-be 20-year-old Alex and boasts over 160 thousand subscribers. The channel has dozens of videos in which Alex confronts men in Walmart for seeking out sexual contact with a minor. All of Predator Poacher’s videos (save one recent upload) are currently unavailable to the public on YouTube; the channel received its second strike from YouTube on a video titled “LGBT couple confronts predator” on grounds of harassment and bullying, and Alex stated in a live stream on the Predator Poachers side account, PP Pranks, that he had set all of the channel’s videos to private to lay low.
Alex Rosen ARRESTED in Branson, MO

Branson Police Department's Post
Branson Police Department
On 03/26/2025, officers with the Branson Police Department were dispatched to a report of a disturbance on private property at a local buisness. Reportedly, a male citizen was screaming at patrons and management before refusing to leave the private property, even after the manager requested the citizen to leave. Upon arrival, the citizen claimed he was there to confront an alleged pedophile (who was not the manager) based on a text message conversation as part of a private, unofficial investigation into potential sexual predators. The citizen admitted to refusing to leave the private property even after such request was made by the manager of the private property - a request the citizen was legally obligated to follow. Multiple individuals reported believing the citizen was going to become violent due to his verbal hostility and aggressive, intimidating physical approach. These statements were supported by video evidence. The business desired prosecution, and officers arrested the citizen for peace disturbance and trespassing.
The Branson Police Department (“BPD”) is investigating the citizen’s claims. None of his information was refused, and BPD is actively investigating the full scope of this incident. BPD was not advised of the current private investigation before the citizen chose to attempt a livestreamed confrontation with the alleged suspect. Ultimately, BPD detectives built a criminal case against the alleged suspect and made an additional lawful arrest. This was a direct result of BPD’s efforts as dedicated professionals who are deeply attuned to the rules of evidence, constitutional rights, and specific procedures that are necessary to build robust, prosecutable cases with the highest probability of success even under appellate scrutiny.
The rule of law is critically important. Vigilante campaigns conducted without lawful and valid investigative techniques place potential victims at unnecessary risk and increase the likelihood that families and individuals are harmed through unproven accusations. We are aware many private groups are dedicated to protecting victims from sexual predators, and we applaud their lawful efforts. Such groups that genuinely engaged in these efforts know there are procedures that must be followed for successful outcomes, and that these procedures require proper coordination with law enforcement agencies.
The men and women of the Branson Police Department appreciate the continued support of the Branson community, and work tirelessly, selflessly, and courageously to safeguard all manner of victims. To suggest otherwise is false and insulting. To be clear: the only thing BPD wants more than to put predators in jail–and keep them there–is the absence of predatory behavior in the first place. We remain dedicated to valid investigations, lawful arrests, and successful prosecutions.
